About
Truth, engineered
Fact Engineering is a fact-checking service built on a simple premise: no single AI model should be trusted to decide what's true.
Why we built this
AI models are extraordinary at reading and reasoning — and every one of them confidently gets things wrong. Ask one model to fact-check a document and you inherit its blind spots, its training-data cutoff, and its particular way of hallucinating. Publishers, researchers, and teams shipping content at scale need something sturdier than one model's opinion.
So we treat verification like an engineering problem. Independent checks, disagreement on the record, an auditable trail from every verdict back to the votes and sources behind it — and pricing quoted up front, per claim, before any work runs.
How it works
Every claim in your document is checked independently by a panel of frontier models from different providers — against their own knowledge, or with live web research and citations — and a separate AI judge weighs their votes, reasoning, and evidence into one consensus verdict with a calibrated confidence score. The full pipeline, its known limitations, and how to read the scores are documented on our methodology page.
